BRIDGING BUSINESS AND GOVERNMENT

A collaborate effort between Association of Commerce and Industry, Santa Fe Chamber of Commerce, and New Mexico Hospitality Association

Albuquerque, NM, September 19, 2016 – As our state’s leaders prepare to develop policy solutions this legislative session, three organizations that foster New Mexico’s economic potential forged a partnership and are offering three events focused on Bridging Business and Government.  This collaborate effort between Association of Commerce and Industry (ACI), Santa Fe Chamber of Commerce, and New Mexico Hospitality Association encourages holistic conversations about growing business, creating jobs, developing our workforce and ultimately helping communities thrive.

“Time and again, businesses of all industries face the same challenges – demand for a skilled workforce, taxes, workers’ compensation and so on,” ACI President and CEO Jason Espinoza said. “In challenging times such as these, the business community must find ways in which we come together to create policy solutions, and the collaboration of ACI, New Mexico Hospitality Association and the Santa Fe Chamber for this event is a great example. We are always more effective when we work together.”

“New Mexico’s tourism industry continues to grow, creating jobs and bringing tax revenue into local economies.  We are honored to partner with other organizations that strive towards a similar mission, which is to see New Mexico prosper,” said Jen Schroer, President and CEO of New Mexico Hospitality Association.

“We are pleased to partner with other business organizations and chambers from all over New Mexico to host our hard-working elected officials and showcase Santa Fe’s finest hospitality,” said Santa Fe Chamber of Commerce President and CEO Simon Brackley.
