The Award Winning “New Mexico True Television” series launches its 5th season May 7th at 8:30 a.m., on KOB 4 in Albuquerque and PBS affiliates in Las Cruces and Portales.
Producer/Director Melinda Frame promises more insights and excitement in this new season of eight shows.
“This season we’ll take you to Pecos for fishing, hiking and ATV riding up Elk Mountain to the history of the Puye Cliff Dwellings North of Santa Fe as well as show you some of the best guest home getaways in the state,” Frame said.
New Mexico True Television Creator and Executive Producer Richard Holcomb said he is personally excited about sharing the rich heritage of cowboys past and present as well as a weekend stay in Cloudcroft.
“One of my favorite filming projects has been the massive and complete restoration of Steam Engine 2926, which has been several years in the making by a 100 percent volunteer force of men and women dedicated to preserving the history of this once proud train engine," Holcomb said. "She’s just about ready to roll and I know you’ll enjoy hearing about the history as well her progress toward hitting the rails once again.”
