Komoll joins NMHA after serving as the Executive Director for the New Mexico Association of Food Banks for 10 years. During her tenure with the New Mexico Association of Food Banks, Komoll worked with Feeding America and a statewide network of over 400 agencies to manage the Fresh Produce Initiative.
Prior to her time with the New Mexico Association of Food Banks, Komoll served as Vice President of Real Estate, Community & Government Relations for Furr’s Supermarkets. Komoll oversaw a portfolio of over 100 properties valued more than $250 million across New Mexico and West Texas. In this role, Komoll served as the corporate spokesperson, coordinated community relations and legislative activites and supervised philanthropic outreach.
Komoll is a dedicated servant to the New Mexico community. She currently serves as a Town Hall facilitator for New Mexico First, serves on the Advocacy Committee for the Roadrunner Food Bank and serves on the Board of Directors for the Outpost Performance Space. Komoll served as Board President for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation and Board President for YWCA of Central New Mexico. Other examples of Komoll’s community leadership are her role as Public Information Officer for the American Red Cross after Hurricane Katrina, and serving on the Presbyterian Healthcare Foundation, Leadership New Mexico, United Way of Central New Mexico, the New Mexico Arts and Crafts Fair, and the Junior League of Albuquerque.
Cody Johnson joined the New Mexico Hospitality Association in December 2016 after working as a freelancer specializing in virtual tour production.
Cody has experience in graphic design, multimedia production and the implementation of public relations tactics. Cody has previously worked within city government, higher education and the for-profit sector.
Cody moved back to New Mexico in July 2016 after spending 3 years in the Reno/Tahoe area where he originally moved for graduate school. While in Reno, Cody served as the Public Relations for the City of Reno and the Marketing Coordinator for Dickson Commercial Group. Cody also served as a teaching assistant with the Reynolds School of Journalism at the University of Reno where he taught labs for the introductory journalism program. Cody received his M.A. in Interactive Journalism from the Reynolds School of Journalism at the University of Nevada in December 2014.
Prior to his move to the Reno/Tahoe area, Cody lived in Las Cruces for four years while he attended New Mexico State University where he obtained his B.A. in Journalism in May 2013. Cody was highly involved around the NMSU campus and the Las Cruces community during his college career, and spent three years as a media relations student assistant for Aggie Athletics. In this role, Cody served as the media contact for men's and women's tennis, and the cross country and track and field teams.
Cody was born and raised in Albuquerque, NM.

Kathy Kunda joined New Mexico Hospitality Association April of 2018 after starting up Mindful Kindness and working as a Life Coach.
Kathy is originally from Southern California and moved to New Mexico the first time in 2001. Kathy worked in the paper distribution industry for nearly 20 years as a business fixer in the Southwest and West Coast Regions. After Kathy’s last turnaround in San Diego, she decided to move back to New Mexico to start a different chapter of her life.
Kathy comes to us with years of experience in rebuilding relationships, exceeding sales expectations, team building, creating communities and fellowship. On multiple occasions Kathy has taken locations that were on the verge of closing and turned them around to become #1.
Kathy loves New Mexico and is excited work with clients from all areas of this beautiful state. Her interests are the great outdoors, paddle boarding, camping being an MC for events, and most recently dancing. My passions are to make people laugh and inspire change.
