NMHA New Hire: Khanh-Thy Gonzales - Marketing and Events Manager

Originally a California native, Khanh-Thy Gonzales, has moved from Florida to Ohio before making her way to New Mexico. As a military spouse, she is used to adapting and immersing herself in her surroundings and is determined to experience everything her new environment offers. Excited to dive into New Mexico’s culture, she’s already cheered for the Isotopes, stopped and smelled roses at the BioPark Botanical Gardens, had heapings of green chile stew (and learned the right way to spell chile), strolled down famous Route 66 to have brunch in Nob Hill, sipped on wine in Plaza Sena, and the list goes on. What invigorates and excites her is finding gems throughout her new state and discovering unique experiences that are off the beaten path.

Previously as the Marketing Lead and Manager with Lighthouse Technologies Inc., a software testing company out of Dayton, OH, she helped grow the organization from 6 to almost 50 employees. There, she managed B2B marketing with events such as tradeshows, roundtables, webinars, high profile dinners, etc. and led communications to produce monthly newsletters, brochures, fact sheets, etc.

With almost 10 years of B2B marketing experience under her belt, she is excited to make an impact on the hospitality industry in New Mexico and help grow the association to its full potential. Growing up in Silicon Valley, Khanh-Thy attended Santa Clara University’s Leavey School of Business with a BS in Commerce in Marketing and a minor in Studio Arts. She enjoys running, crafting, sewing, Zumba, and spending time with her husband and two kids.
