The Senate confirmed that they will not be conducting business pertaining to the 2018 Legislative Session on Friday, and it is likely the House of Representatives will also cancel business on Friday as well. NMHA, in agreement with the New Mexico Tourism Department and the New Mexico Restaurant Association, have decided to reschedule Tourism Day to Wednesday, Jan. 31 (one day after TRENDS).

The hospitality and tourism industry is a key driver for economic activity in communities across New Mexico and plays an integral role in our statewide economy. Tourism Day in Santa Fe will provide New Mexico destination representatives and hospitality business leaders with the opportunity to showcase the important role of hospitality and tourism and discuss ways to preserve its success.
Hosted by the New Mexico Hospitality Association in partnership with the New Mexico Tourism Department and the New Mexico Restaurant Association during the 2018 Legislative Session, Tourism Day in Santa Fe will provide a great opportunity to showcase all of the wonderful tourism assets across New Mexico and share the legislative priorities of our industry with elected officials to guarantee future success for New Mexico hospitality and tourism.
The New Mexico Tourism Department will also be hosting a special program during the lunch hour of Tourism Day in Santa Fe.
