What was your first job in the hospitality industry?
I began working as a line cook.

Who has helped/mentored you through your career?
I’ve been lucky enough to have many great mentors. Ski bums & Spaniards & S. Rose. I learn something new everyday.

What has been the highlight of your career?
Opening a brand new hotel with a multi-cultural team in beautiful northern New Mexico!

What is one thing you would tell young people entering the hospitality business?
Go spend some time abroad, it will help you understand how expectations and values vary from culture to culture, and you will appreciate the industry in the US much more.

What are your favorite places to visit in New Mexico?
Hiking the ridge & making it to the top of Kachina peak on a bluebird day.
